LAST WEEKEND IN JUNE!

2017 Entertainment Schedule

The Jack Maybe Project  {1:00 - 2:30}
Jack Maybe was forged in the fires of the American sound. Blues, Jazz, Folk, and Bluegrass all came to his ears at an early age-before their time. Through the centuries, he found different beasts who were his kin, and together they began to sing the songs of the Old Monsters who roamed the earth before they. The monsters change form and ferocity, but the songs remain the same.

Q&A Panel with Brewers  {2:30 - 3:30}

Trebuchet  {3:30 - 5:00}
Petaluma, CA’s Trebuchet all met while attending music school at Sonoma State University, although it wasn’t until four years later in 2010 that its four members decided to form as an indie group. Many years of studying and working on various other musical projects together had afforded its members a strong musical chemistry: one that has helped them achieve a level of honesty on their second album, Volte-Face, which reflects the two years of drastic change in the life of lyricist Eliott Whitehurst that inspired it.

Named after the French term that literally translates to “about face,” Volte-Face concerns a sharp turn down a new path for the singer, who abruptly called off his engagement to be married some two years ago. His struggles are conceptualized heavily throughout the album and provide perhaps the most literal explanation of its title. Collectively, all manner of personal woes are filtered through the minor tones on Volte-Face, and in their vulnerability can be heard the sound of Trebuchet’s catharsis.

The band celebrated their record release on April 14th at The Phoenix Theatre in Petaluma.

Survival Guide  {6:00 - 7:00}
Survival Guide is an artistic endeavor featuring vocalist and keyboardist Emily Whitehurst. The music falls somewhere between indie rock and electronic, always with strong vocals and a sprinkle of pop. Survival Guide is known to use a handful of gadgets during a live set: a toy glockenspiel, a telephone, sometimes a bubble gun. Whitehurst is known for singing lead in her previous bands: Tsunami Bomb (punk) and The Action Design (power pop).

Tasters' Choice Award and Auction Winners  {7:30 - 8:00}

AFTER PARTY—Bag of Hammers  {8:00 - 10:00}
A local favorite, Bag of Hammers is a musical group that uses live looping to blend electronic and acoustic sounds. Sound simple? Well just wait until you hear what simple sounds like. Bring your dancing shoes!!!
